MRCCI has always been very proud of businesses in the Margaret River Region, but on the tenth of November at the State Regional Small Business Awards (WARSBAs) we couldn’t have been prouder! 6 out of 10 Awards were won by our amazing south west businesses and 4 of the 6 were from the Margaret River region – winners of the MRCCI’s Business Awards last August.
In order to enter the WARSBAs, businesses must first win a local business award, so the event is extremely competitive. It’s the best of the best from every regional corner of the State – Albany to the Goldfields, Broome and Kununnara, etc. For our little patch Margaret River to win 40% of the Awards was a truly remarkable result!
Congratulations to Nudge Psychological Assessment and Consulting who won Business of the Year as well as taking out the Customer Service category! Nudge Psychological Assessment and Consulting provide many services such as individual, couples and family counselling as well as psychological assessments and through care. Well done to the Nudge team!
Congratulations to Margaret River Hemp Co who won the 5-10 employees category. Hemp Co offers an extensive range of hemp clothing for men and women as well as bags, skin and hair products and much more. Great work Hemp Co!
Arrows Life won the 0-4 employees category. They provide a unique massage experience offering remedial massage therapy in Margaret River at an affordable price. A big congratulations to all the Arrows team!
On the night Cape to Cape Explorer Tours were recognised for their contribution to the community. They specialise in providing memorable experiences along the Cape to Cape track. Congratulations Cape to Cape!
Further congratulations to our fellow south west winners, Sportspower Bunbury and Eaton Fair who won the Franchise category and to Good Night Nurse, winners of the Home Based category.
Thank you to the Small Business Development Corporation WA and their team who do a phenomenal job supporting business awards in the region and for hosting the awards night.
