As work continues on the MRCCI’s new strategic plan, a number of core focus areas are being identified, including strengthening relationships with key stakeholders in the region.

Supporting this, this month the MRCCI took part in the first meeting of all four Chambers (Augusta, Busselton, Dunsborough-Yallingup & Margaret River), initiated by MRBTA & facilitated by Barry House. The atmosphere in the room was extremely positive, as we worked together to identify a number of opportunities to benefit members through greater collaboration, such as joint events, a regional survey and the development of a capes regional network. The group will meet again at the start of June to progress the opportunities further.

Later this month we also met with the Margaret River Wine Association’s new Marketing Director, Amanda Whiteland, and once again, a number of opportunities for collaboration were identified, including an upcoming member workshop and cross member networking events.

It’s seems work together is the way forward across the region!
