The MRCCI February Sundowner was a night of firsts, including our first networking event for the year and our first combined Sundowner with MRBTA.

And what an evening it was!

Co-hosted by Elders Insurance Geographe and Fraser Gallop Estate, over 120 guests from both organisations gathered on the Estate’s cellar door lawn, where they enjoyed a fine selection of wines, never ending canapes by Supper Road, and new networking opportunities and connections.

First to take to the mic was Nigel Gallop who gave a great update on the Estate, his journey from California and his ambitions for the future.

Guests then heard from Matthew Wright of Elders Insurance Geographe, who emphasised their local ownership, commitment to south west customers and support for their region’s small business community. This was followed by a very special announcement…

Gold Sponsorship to the Chamber!

Confirming their commitment to the region, this was fantastic news for the MRCCI. As a not-for-profit organisation run by a volunteer Executive Committee, this level of support makes a huge difference. We’re thrilled – thank you!

Meaningful collaboration is so important and we look forward to strengthening our relationships with both Elders Insurance Geographe and MRBTA as the year unfolds.
