Morries was buzzing again yesterday morning at our monthly Coffee Club event – the Morning Muster!

Our members were keen to hear from this month’s guest speaker Stephanie Addison-Brown, the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Shire of Augusta Margaret River. Stephanie delivered a really interesting insight into her journey working across different cities in the world before arriving in Western Australia some 15 years ago. After working for the City of Mandurah and the City of Bunbury she has landed what she calls her “dream job” here in the Augusta Margaret River region.

Stephanie was attracted to the region and the new role after realising how motivated and energised our community is for sustainable economic growth alongside environmental and community values. The Margaret River Chamber Of Commerce and Industry members had the opportunity to ask Stephanie questions and get to know her throughout the morning.

As always the team at Morries provided an excellent venue, the best coffees and delicious breakfast canapes. Members mingled and got to know what’s been happening in each other’s businesses this month before heading off to another day!

The next Morning Muster is on again at 8:30 am on the 26th of September – put it in your diary!
