Margaret River’s cool cats and kittens of the business community came out in style for the sixth annual business awards on Thursday September 26, 2013. For one night only the Margaret River Cultural Centre was transformed into a swanky jazz bar filled with beautiful and bizarre decorations and 200 exuberant members of the Margaret River business community.
Here are ten highlights from the night that was…
1. Legendary master of ceremonies Ken Preston brought the house down for the Awards presentation. You’re the man Ken!

2. The professional film production of local filmmaker Dan Nicholls from Illusory dazzled guests who watched the Finalists on the silver screen before each winner was announced.
3. Noah Shilkin & mUnk set the vibe for a groovy event that finished up with a swinging dance floor- business style!
4. Marion gave guests a sexy surprise when ‘she’ stepped out for a saucy rendition of ‘All That Jazz’ during entrée.

5. The enthralling Roller Derby ladies took drinks service to a new level as they topped wine up while gliding by on their skates.

6. The Cultural Centre bathrooms have never been so saucy… Ladies were treated to a vintage inspired powder room, while the blokes got quite the eyeful. Compliments of A-List Events.

7. Very dapper Gnarabar staff served mouth-watering gourmet fare to excess- including that tantalising Braised Beef cheek gnocchi.

8. The jazz inspired table decorations of sparkly masks, hats and feathers designed by Chic Rustique walked out the door on heads and faces of guests, while the Vintage pieces from Preloved Goods set the scene

9. Guests enjoying a plentiful supply of premium Margaret River wine generously donated by Margaret River Wine Industry Association.
10. Last but not least- a huge highlight of the night was the looks of surprise and delight of the Winners as they took the stage. Congratulations to the Finalists & Winners.
