Welcome back Emma Glynn, from the Margaret River Chamber of Commerce and Industry, along with other regional delegates who travelled to Haining, China on Monday 3 November to participate in a sister city exchange program.

The trip focused on business networking, building trade relationships and promoting Augusta Margaret River as a tourism and investment location. Attendees had the opportunity to meet with representatives from the Chinese film industry, the Federation of Literature and Arts, the Foreign Affairs Office, Commerce Bureau, Tourism Board, the Economic Development Zone and Austrade.

The year’s exchange formalised the sister city relationship between Haining and Augusta Margaret River following 5 years of informal arrangement. The trip was extremely successful, strengthening the bonds between our two countries and regions.
