Margaret River Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MRCCI) are pleased to announce the MRCCI 8th Annual Business Awards under the continued banner of the ‘Margaret River Region Business Awards’ developed in 2014 in collaboration with AMRTA.
This year the awards are open to all businesses in the Margaret River Region without requiring MRCCI membership, it’s an open house. The awards are open to all businesses within the Augusta-Margaret River Shire and City of Busselton.
For 2015, the submission criteria is simple and will allow award winners to immediately proceed with submissions to the Western Australian Regional Small Business Awards 2015 (WARSBA). Last year 3 Margaret River Region businesses were represented at the WARSBA and one from Busselton took home a major award.
Last year due a strong focus on tourism categories onsite inspections were introduced, but not this year. It was a great element to the awards judging, however the awards this year are focused on all businesses in all sectors.
The high standard of judging will be upheld and only out-of-region judges will be onboard again. The MRCCI Executive Committee believes that this process has the most integrity in regards to judging the entrants.
The MRCCI is also bringing back professionally produced Award Finalist Videos that those Finalists can take home and use on their website and social media after the Awards Night.
The Awards will be hosted at Margaret River venue and the MRCCI is really excited to see what level of entrants will be contesting at what is sure to be one of the year’s most enjoyable nights out.
