As the major arts umbrella organisation in the Shire of Augusta-Margaret River for more than four decades, Arts Margaret River is actively engaged in all forms of the arts, working with all sectors of the resident community. Arts Margaret River is a not-for-profit cultural community organisation.
They provide assistance to many local artists and performers with an advocacy and advisory service. Their organisation aims to involve all members of the community in all forms of the arts. Their aim is achieved through a variety of programmes: music of all forms, theatre and dance performances, visual art exhibitions and events, Readers and Writers Festival events, various workshops, community celebrations including free outdoor concerts and activities, along with their volunteer run cinema.
