In addition, we’ll be introducing an alternate, more compact point of sales solution for small to medium retail outlets. Vend is a POS solution that is easy to navigate and provides powerful reporting facilities and other features to improve the smooth operation of your business. Because Vend is cloud based, you can access the interface from any device that is connected to the internet; and a backup of your data will automatically save to the cloud so that in the event of a failure, your data is safe and accessible.
With a new POS system, you’ll need a corresponding accounting solution and we’re recommending the cloud based software, Xero. This online solution can perform daily accounting tasks as well as payroll meaning that managing the different aspects of finances can all be done in one place. Reconciling invoices has never been easier with the Xero apps that can be used on any device, your bank statements are received automatically and you can reconcile them anywhere.
And, to help eliminate the admin burden that receipts and invoices put on your staff, we recommend Receipt Bank. Receipt Bank is additional software that works alongside Xero, as well as other popular accounting packages, to convert key information from bills,
receipts and invoices into easy to use data. The figures and key details, such as names, dates, invoice numbers, currency types, taxes and total amounts, can be entered via email, minimising the time spent on data entry so that you can concentrate on productivity in other areas.
