In the last two weeks over fifty local businesses have signed up to become new MRCCI members, taking advantage of the three month’s free membership offer that is currently available as part of the funding that the Chamber received from the Shire of Augusta Margaret River’s Community Care Package.
The new members come from a wide range of industries in our region including food and beverage producers, primary producers, restaurants and cafes, sports coaches, business consultants, cleaners, health and wellness professionals, trades and services, artists and galleries.
We are busy working through all the new member’s details and will be promoting all new members on our website blog and on our social media over the coming weeks.
On surveying our new members there were a range of responses for what they’re hoping to gain out of their MRCCI membership from increased networking opportunities (both online and in-person as COVID-19 restrictions are gradually reduced), to linking up with other businesses who can help them in the directions they’re taking in 2020. Several businesses also said they are looking for a greater sense of belonging within our local business community – the chance to connect with more business owners in similar situations and to help each other out.
The MRCCI is encouraging all local businesses who would like to join us to read more about the current membership benefits and apply here: https://mrcci.com.au/memberships/
