 In August MRCCI held the 2017 Telstra Margaret River Region Business Awards which received praise last week in Federal Parliament for acknowledging the outstanding achievements by small business by the Honourable Federal Member for Forrest, Nola Marino MP, who gave special acknowledgement to the Margaret River TAFE students.
Ms Marino said: “I commend all of the winners to the House but would particularly like to acknowledge the great work done by those Margaret River TAFE students. Their service is outstanding; they take it very, very seriously. Each year I go, I compliment them on what they do to make that evening such a success.” 
Praise was also give to the great performances from Freespirit, Trapeze, Volare, Wildstar and the Margaret River High School Jazz Band, along with congratulations to the following award winners:
Arrows,  Big Valley Campsite, Cape to Cape Explorer Tours, Chic Rustique,Margaret River Cracker Company, Margaret River Hemp Co,Margaret River Surf School, Nudge Psychological Assessment and Consulting, Ocean Grown Abalone, Rustico at Hay Shed Hill and The Beer Farm.

Entries for the 2018 Awards will open in April and we’re confident that the Margaret River Region will continue to have outstanding and successful businesses that impress not just at the Awards but nation-wide as well.
