Last Thursday the MRCCI hosted our 2019 Annual General Meeting as part of our Morning Musters at Morries series. Thank you to everyone who joined us to hear an update on the year that has been and plans for the future. A special shout out to the members who nominated for positions on the Executive Committee with all existing members continuing and two new members welcomed to the team.

New Chamber President – Welcome, Melissa Rose!

The MRCCI is delighted to announce that the President’s position was filled by local business owner, Melissa Rose. In recent months Melissa has been actively acting as Deputy, driving our support local campaigns, consulting on the Main Street redevelopment project and strengthening relations with many key stakeholders.  Melissa has a degree in business marketing and is the owner of two local award winning businesses, the Margaret River Artisan Store and Re-Tyre Shoes. She has an undeniable passion for the region and community and is an asset to the team.

Thank You, Steven Castan!

The MRCCI would like to take this opportunity to once again thank outgoing President, Steven Castan. It would be impossible to count the hours and quantify the incredible contribution that Steve has made to the community. Steve has renominated to remain on the Committee until the end of the year, before returning to Melbourne.
